“Handmade washi” refers to traditional Japanese paper that is crafted sheet by sheet by hand.
For my works, I use hand-crafted washi from Kyoto and other regions of Japan.

Traditional Hanging scroll
Our craftsman will mount your work into a traditional hanging scroll (kakejiku).
The price varies depending on the fabric, paper, and size. Please feel free to contact us for details.
The artwork itself will be created on Japanese washi paper.

• Hanging scroll made with hand-made washi and pure silk:
from ¥70,000 (depending on size)

Marin Yano
Hello! I'm Marin, a Japanese calligrapher with over
20 years of practice. I love sharing the beauty of calligraphy with travelers visiting Japan.
In this workshop, you can create your own art work
and even try making a traditional Japanese stone seal.
